What To Expect at El Patron in Lubbock

El Patron has now taken over the space that formerly housed Gorditos and then Senior Chubby's (clearly, the Google Maps car hasn't been around for a while). I've seen several reviews of the restaurant so far, and the consensus is that you simply must have the made-tableside guacamole served with large strips of chicharrones. Hey, that's low carb!

El Patron has low, cool lighting and appears to be extensively remodeled on the inside with nice-looking booths and tables. There is a full-service bar and an extensive menu of Mexican favorites.
