Blue Bell’s New High-Protein Pints Are Turning Heads

(KNUE-FM) Last week we got to try the new Blue Bell PRO Pints high-protein frozen dairy dessert line that is now in stores in East Texas. I was so excited about the product because I love sweet treats but these aren’t bad, as each pint has fewer than 350 calories and each comes with over 30 grams of protein. It makes finishing a whole pint feel a little better.

Do High-Protein Desserts Taste Different?

While I was excited about the product being in stores, I was a little nervous. Like most Texans, I love the Blue Bell product already. Sometimes when a new product line is introduced, things can change, especially when you’re trying to create a healthier alternative. I was curious to see if this new dessert was going to have that chalky taste that you get with so many protein packed items?

Flavors Available in PRO Pints

The new Blue Bell PRO Pints come in five different flavors including coffee, strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, and salted caramel. While I haven’t had the chance to try all of them yet, I was able to sample some of the new flavors and I was impressed.

Taste Test: Are They Worth It?

I couldn’t tell a difference between the new PRO Pints and regular Blue Bell pints you find in the frozen aisle. The salted caramel flavor was delicious and it never tasted like they compromised the flavor just to make a healthier option.

Blue Bell has hit another home run, Texans are going to love this new line of high protein desserts. Especially those who are working to be healthier.
