The tough thing is that many communities don’t offer a wide variety of options and tend to gear toward a specific group of people. Well, one community located in Cypress, Texas seems to have a little bit of everything for everyone.

Towne Lake is a Texas community centered around a 300-acre lake with 14 miles of shoreline and a 6-mile continuous boat ride. The lake connects residential areas to a variety of restaurants, shopping, and other businesses via boat. The community is geared to complement the lifestyle of multiple generations with a waterpark, boardwalk, parks, hiking, community lake house, fishing, watersports, and more.

The only downside to a community like this is that the houses come with a high price tag ranging from $400,000 to over $1 million. However, compared to other lake communities, the price points for these homes are relatively reasonable.

While many residents of this community own their own boats, adding to the price of living there, it isn’t actually required. There is a water taxi service along with boat rentals available for those that wish to enjoy the boating lifestyle and ease of water transport without purchasing or stowing your own boat.

Overall, is this the best community you can call home in Texas? That is up to you to decide. I personally think it seems like a really cool place, but I know there are many other great places to live in the Lone Star State as well.
