I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas

Gayla Peevey spent a lot of time at my house when I was a kid.
Well, not actually in person, but her song "I want A Hippopotamus For Christmas", played so much that it felt like she was part of the family.

One of the best things about this time of the year is hearing songs that take you back to your childhood. At my house, my mom would play this song as we cleaned the house for the Christmas season.
