Disturbed Man Kills Himself Because Girlfriend Won’t Stop Shopping for Shoes

Talk about ‘shop ‘til you drop.’

A man in China identified as Tao Hsiao who had enough of his girlfriend’s Christmas shopping took the very drastic step of killing himself by jumping to his death from the seventh floor of the department store after his lady love said she wanted to look at more shoes.

Like most men, Tao 38, reportedly couldn’t deal anymore after five hours of Christmas shopping with his girlfriend in a mall.

A witness described what went down prior to Tao’s demise:

He told her she already had enough shoes, more shoes that she could wear in a lifetime and it was pointless buying any more. She started shouting at him accusing him of being a skinflint and of spoiling Christmas, it was a really heated argument."

Surveillance cameras then captured Tao tossing some shopping bags and flying over the railing, landing by the cosmetics. Tao died immediately. No one else was injured.
