How Many Texas H.S. Players Were Ranked in ESPN’s Top 300
When people think Texas they think football, barbecue and guns. Probably in that order, too. But really, it's no secret the Lone Star State is home to many, many talented athletes that go on to play college and even professional football. Every year ESPN puts out a ranking index and in 2016, there were 51 Texas high school players in the ESPN 300. Out of 50 states, that's 1/6 of the total number.
