Texas Tech Crowns 2019 Homecoming King and Queen [Gallery]
After a student body vote, the 2019 Texas Tech homecoming king and queen were announced during the halftime break of the Iowa State Texas Tech game.
Last year's royalty were on hand, but it was Texas Tech President Lawrence Schovanec and his wife, Patty, who crowned the new king and queen on the field at Jones AT&T Stadium.
Reginald Lane of Bridgeport and Hunter Heck of Panhandle were crowned the 2019 recipients of the crowns. Lane, an agricultural and applied economics and general business major, represents Saddle Tramps, and Heck, a Spanish major, represents Mortar Board.
The game wasn't a success, but the halftime festivities were.
