Hillcrest Golf and Country Club Sold to Member-Investor Group

One of Lubbock’s private country clubs has undergone an ownership change.

Within the past three weeks, former Lubbock Mayor Glen Robertson sold Hillcrest Golf and Country Club to a group of member-investors.  The new ownership group for Hillcrest Golf and Country Club is headed by J.D. Dickerson of Plainview. Dickerson is also a member at Hillcrest.

In a letter to club members, Dickerson praised Robertson’s 13 years of ownership, and said new improvements to the club will be implemented immediately. In a separate letter to club members, Glen Robertson said he will remain a member at Hillcrest.

Hillcrest Golf and Country Club is located in North Lubbock at 4011 North Boston Avenue. Hillcrest features golf, swimming, tennis and dinning amenities; it was founded in 1950.
