The Buddy Holly Hall has announced another show.

I must confess, I still have a towel autographed by the Goo Goo Dolls when they played Lubbock with Bush and No Doubt. I believe the year was 1996 and the show landed at the Fairpark Colesium.

The Goo's will return to Lubbock on November 16th. Here's the scoop from the press release:

Tickets for the Goo Goo Dolls - Chaos in Bloom Tour at The Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and Sciences go on sale to the public on Friday, August 19 at 10 a.m. (CT). Tickets range in price from $34.50 to $109.50 plus taxes and fees and can be purchased online at buddyhollyhall.com, by calling ETIX at 1 (800) 514-3849, and in person at the venue box office at 1300 Mac Davis Lane, Lubbock, TX 79401, open Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Those ticket prices are actually kind of sweet. Who wouldn't want to hear "Slide", "Name", "Iris" or "Long Way Down" live? In addition, the Goo Goo Dolls are also celebrating a new release called, "Chaos In Blood".

I can't say enough how special and appreciated the Buddy Holly Hall is. I never really realized the full scope of entertainment out there. I originally thought that the Hall would follow a very similar booking pattern to the place in Midland-Odessa and we've already blown them away several times over.  The place also happens to be beautiful and features top-notch acoustics. I believe it's just a matter of time before some artist or comedian films a whole special there.
