The little monsters came to the ball in Atlantic City on Saturday night as Lady Gaga kicked off the 2011 North American leg of her tour. Some fans showed up as early as 12 hours before the concert hoping for a good view in the general admission area. Others came dressed in outlandish outfits, paying homage to the star with rhinestone shoes, big hair and Diet Coke cans on their heads. Scissor Sisters opened up the show with six songs before Gaga took the stage at the sold-out Boardwalk Hall. The set list featured hits like “Poker Face,” “Paparazzi,” “Telephone,” and “Just Dance”. After almost two hours she wrapped up the show with “Bad Romance” and her new #1-smash, “Born This Way.” During the concert, Gaga wowed fans by announcing that she’ll return next year with the Born This Way Ball. The next stop on the Monster Ball tour is Madison Square Garden in New York City on Monday and Tuesday, where Lady Gaga’s first HBO special will be taped. Check out some pics from the show.
