Frenship ISD is continuing to reshape their central office administration under the leadership of Superintendent Dr. Michelle McCord.

Thursday afternoon, the district announced the promotion of Tiffany Taylor to the position of Director of Communications and Community Engagement. Taylor previously served as Frenship ISD's Media Relations Coordinator.

According to district officials, Taylor will cultivate relationships between the district and local media, and citizens living in Frenship ISD. Taylor's new duties will also include working the the non-profit, Frenship Foundation for Leadership.

“Since 2019, she has been a great addition to our District, and we are confident she is the best fit to take on this new leadership role,” said Dr. Michelle McCord, Frenship ISD Superintendent. “As Frenship continues to grow, her experience, knowledge, and skill sets will be a benefit to the Communications Department and helping us better serve our Frenship families.”

Taylor's previous work experience also includes working for the Lubbock Police Department as a Public Information Officer for over two years.

“I am excited to serve our Frenship families and community in this new capacity.” said Taylor. “I will continue the momentum from our past directors and will look for innovative ways to engage with our Frenship families and keep our community informed.”

Frenship ISD continues to be in a growth-pattern. District voters last year approved a $299 million bond package to facilitate the building of a number of new campuses, including a second high school, and fourth middle school, for the district. Frenship ISD's second high school is expected to open in the Fall of 2024.
