Tye Rogers, the former Lubbock Christian Schools President, was ordered to house arrest on Monday, June 14th.

KAMC News reports that back in October of 2020, Rogers' wife caught him taking pictures of a 15-year-old girl as she was preparing to take a shower. It's said he was doing this by holding his cell phone under the opening at the bottom of the bathroom door.

Rogers apparently admitted to his wife to taking several pictures and videos of the girl previously. He also admitted to using his phone to possess child pornography.

Then, in November, the board of the Lubbock Christian Schools announced that Rogers had been removed from his position after he was involved in an investigation by Child Protective Services.

When confronted by a colleague, who asked if Rogers really had been found taking pictures of a minor, he said that he did, along with "I guess I should resign."

Earlier in June of 2021, Rogers pleaded guilty to the child pornography charges and now faces up to 10 years in prison.

On top of the house arrest conditions, Rogers must also report to his probation office, actively seek employment, surrender his passport and cannot travel outside of the northern district of Texas. A judge said that Rogers must remain at his home except for a list of approved activities.

Rogers had already posted a $15,000 bond to be released from jail.
