A Lubbock man was sentenced on Tuesday, April 26th, 2022 to 5 years in prison for the aggravated robbery of a local convenience store.

KAMC News reports that 21-year-old Aaron Wiley participated in the robbery of Fast Stop, located at 7302 4th Street in Lubbock, Texas.

Back in August 2020, two suspects entered the store at around 9:45 p.m. One of them pointed a gun at the employee behind the counter while the other took cash out of the register. The gunman apparently said to the employee, "don't call the police, we have other guys outside."

The two suspects then ran out of the store. The employee called the owner, who called 9-1-1. Three suspects were identified in total: Kaleb Howard, Tristen Torrez, and Wiley, who is pictured above. It wasn't specified which of the three suspects went into the store.

Wiley was given close to 600 days of credit for time he already served in jail. Torrez pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 12 years, and Howard, who also pleaded guilty, was sentenced to 10 years.
