Do You Know How Many Times You’ve Driven Past This Lubbock Statue?

Do you know how many times you've ridden past this statue near Spur 327? Do you know who she is?

She's right in the middle of a high traffic area on Spur 327 at the South Plains Mall. I noticed her for the first time the other day, but knew I had driven past her too many times to count.

It's a hidden-in-plain-sight gem, and I would love to know more about her.Since I've only been here in Lubbock a few years now I asked around, but no one I talked to had an answer. They were just as curious as I am.
