The Lubbock Parade of Homes officially ended this past weekend, and there were so many stunning homes being showcased. One of those homes includes this north Lubbock house that’s somehow modern and retro at the same time.

Maybe it’s the bright orange vintage-inspired fridge or the light wood finishes, but despite the contemporary exterior and modern floor plan, this house has a very retro feel to it.

We’re seeing a lot more of these unique, contemporary homes popping up around the Hub City, specifically in the southern part. 130th Street seems to be the hub for these types of homes, but this one breaks the mold by being towards the northern part of Lubbock. The city has been so focused on developing the southern part of Lubbock that I think it’s time the northern parts saw some love as well. So I’m excited to see houses like this popping up around there.
