Comedy Central does an annual Autism benefit show called the "Night Of Too Many Stars". It taped on Saturday and airs this Sunday, but some videos are already out of some of the performances. This is one of the coolest ones, with Katy Perry singing "Firework" with a young autistic girl named Jodi.

With Autism still being researched and no cause, or cure anywhere on the horizon, it is one of the least understood conditions of modern times. In fact one of my sons has a mild form of Autism. And while his case is no where near what young Jodi here has, I see many of the same behaviors in him. Maybe I should buy him a piano or guitar soon, he does love his music. The thing with Autism is that it is such a wide spectrum of behaviors that it can very difficult to diagnose early on unless its a rather severe case. For more info on Autism, or if you would like to donate to help Autism research, you can watch the benefit special this Sunday night on Comedy Central, or hit any of the many links I've included below.

Well during the special Jodi got an amazing opportunity to sing one of her favorite songs with one of her favorite singers. Here's Jodi and Katy Perry doing "Firework"

And here are a few links to many of the Autism foundations across the country.
