Closures on MLK Jr. Boulevard to Begin on Thursday

Beginning Thursday, January 9th, northbound lanes of MLK Jr. Boulevard from Canyon Lakes Drive to Idalou Road in Lubbock will be closed.

Even though detours will be provided for thru traffic, motorists are still asked to allow extra time for delays or to find alternate routes.

Lanes will be opened back up each day once work is completed.

The work is expected to take 3 to 4 days to complete.
