Child Actors Who Have Become Successful Musicians [VIDEO]

Here are just a few child actors who have become successful musicians. You may or may not know these people, dependent on what show you watched as a kid and what music you listen to. These are just a few but there have been countless numbers who have tried but have failed to make a splash on the music scene.

Drake

Drake starred as Jimmy Brooks, a handicapped student, in Degrassi: The Next Generation. Drake can now be found blowing up the charts with hits like "Over," "Find Your Love" and , the track below, "Forever."

Janet Jackson

Janet Jackson has been in the world of entertainment since we can all remember. Her famous family has kept her in the lime light for years. Janet starred in the Jacksons variety show, Good Times and Different Strokes. Now she is currently on tour and foxier than ever.

Jenny Lewis

Jenny Lewis has made many acting appearances but is best know for her role with Fred Savage in The Wizard. These days Jenny is only about the music as she has a few bands but is mostly know for her biggest band, Rilo Kiley. Rilo Kiley is currently on hiatus but will return at some point. The band also has another member who was a TV star as a kid (see below).

Blake Soper

Blake Soper is best known for his role as Ronnie Pinksy in the the Nickelodeon cult classic Salute Your Shorts. Soper is now the lead guitarist for the band Rilo Kiley, fronted by Jenny Lewis (mentioned above). Here is a bonus Rilo Kiley track for you.
