How to Watch Texas Tech at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
One of many people’s favorite Thanksgiving traditions is watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with their family.
Seeing the variety of floats, performers, singers, and general entertainment this always a festive time that gets everyone in the mood for the holiday season. This year is also extra special for those in Lubbock and Texas Tech fans all over the country.
The TTU Goin’ Band is performing this year, which is extra special as the university celebrates its 100th year.
If you are wanting to see the performance, here is everything we know:
- The parade airs in on NBC from 8:30 a.m. to noon (in every time zone)
- Streaming will be available on Peacock
- The Goin’ Band will be televised performing a compilation of TTU spirit songs called “Wreck’Em Fanfare”
- Double T’s and pom poms will be distributed to Red Raiders viewing the parade in person.
- There is not a designated time the band will air

“The Texas Tech University Goin' Band from Raiderland will participate in the 97th edition of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 23, 2023, in New York City. The Goin' Band is one of 10 marching bands that will participate in the annual Thanksgiving Day parade. The parade is scheduled to step off at 8:30 a.m. (ET) and will be televised nationally on NBC from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in all time zones.”
