Car Crashes Into a Utility Pole on 82nd Street

Early Thursday morning (July 13), a car crashed into a utility pole causing one of the passengers to be taken to a local hospital.

KAMC News reports that Lubbock Police officers responded to a report of a vehicle crashing into a utility pole on the 2700 block of 82^nd street. When police arrived, they found two males occupying the vehicle. One of the men was taken to UMC with potentially life-threatening injuries.

Police say the car was traveling east on 82^nd street when it failed to stay in its lane, causing the car to crash into the utility pole.

The crash is still under investigation at this time.
