Braum’s Gets Set To Open Their Third Lubbock Area Location On July 14th

Braum's is getting ready to open their third Lubbock area store at 8217 University Avenue on Tuesday, July 14th at 6 am, according to a recent press release.

Wow, things have moved along quickly. Their first Lubbock store opened for business just a little more than a month ago, on June 2nd.

This new location is a real show-stopper. Fresh and modern, it boasts seating for as many as 80 at capacity and serving us well during this time of social distancing with not just one but a double-drive-thru.

It seems like everyone loves their famous old fashioned ice cream fountain and grill, plus in this new 6,000 square foot store they have plenty of space for groceries as well. We will find fresh dairy products, meats, fruits and vegetables.

“Lubbock continues to welcome Braum’s with open arms,” said Drew Braum, President, and CEO of the company. “Right now, we plan to have seven stores in the Lubbock area by the end of the year.”
One store will be at 50th and Milwaukee. The next location will be just off of Texas Tech’s campus on University, then another store will be in Levelland, and the last store will be at 122nd and Quaker in Lubbock.
The newest location brings the total of Braum’s stores in operation to 285. All stores are located in a five-state area: Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas.
