Amarillo Police Arrest Man Connected to U-Haul Trailer Robberies

An arrest has been made in connection with a series of robberies from U-Haul trailers in the Lubbock and Amarillo areas.

Amarillo police have arrested 39-year-old Richard Wayne Patterson. Patterson has been charged with numerous offenses, including theft of firearms and possession of stolen property. He's also linked to at least seven burglaries of U-Haul trailers at hotels in Amarillo, Canyon, Lubbock, and Pampa.

Patterson remains in custody at the Potter County Jail.
