You know I stopped giving to some of the "suspect bums" out there. I read an article out of Austin where a man dressed in rags and stood and begged five days a week in downtown Austin rain or shine. he owned a $125,000 and had just bought a new Toyota as well.

So I am suspicious of all panhandlers. You gotta be missing a limb and have black teeth to get a dime out me these days.

Yesterday, CollegeHumor.com posted a prank video where a guy pretends to be a panhandler on the subway, and makes an announcement that seems like it's going to end with him asking everyone for money.

And as soon as he starts, you can see all the other passengers cringe, like they're about to hear the same sob story they've heard a million times.  But instead, they end up loving him.
