The summer may be Hot for theater goers but for gamers? Not so much. Finally we get a couple of releases this week that may be worth checking out and possibly buying.

"Fuse" Rated (M) is a four-player co-op shooter for the Xbox360 and PS3. A team of agents is sent to retrieve an alien substance called Fuse from the terrorist group that stole it. The Fuse substance can be used to power experimental weapons like a Mag Shield that can absorb bullets and then push them back at the enemies.

Each member of your team carries a Fuse-powered weapon, and you're able to do a lot more damage when the effects of two weapons are combined. That's easy to do if you're playing solo too, since the game lets you switch between agents during combat to take advantage of their unique arsenals.
Split-screen co-op is for two people only. You'll have to go online for four-player co-op. There's also a wave-based mode similar to the "Gears of War" horde mode.

"GRID 2" (E) is a racing game on Xbox360, PS3, and PC that lets you race cars from four different decades. "Drift" mode is where you can earn points for style while taking on mountain roads packed with tight turns.
As far as multiplayer goes, you can sign into RaceNet and form rivalries with players from around the globe, which will drastically increase how many "followers" you have.
