Christmas Party Idea: Throw an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party [VIDEO]

If you are one of the really cool kids then perhaps you've been to an "Ugly Christmas Sweater" party. No? Well, here is the deal. Find a hideous old-school Christmas sweater(think Cliff Huckstable), and wear it with pride: Puff paint, embroidered reindeer, dangling snowballs made of cotton, maybe some ribbon. My favorite is the one in which my Mother mispelled my name! That is pretty much it. Once you go to one "Ugly Sweater Party" you will be on the hunt the entire next year trying to find the thrift store gem that will be the talk of the party.
And now there's a song in honor of the fashion emergency known as the Christmas sweater. It's titled appropriately, "Ugly Sweater" by Mistletoe Conspiracy. It came out last year, but it's timeless.
