August 20th, Kim Kardashian married Kris Humphries in a "fairytale wedding", but the marriage only survived 72 days before she filed for divorce.

October 1st, Gene Simmons finally made an honest woman out of his longtime girlfriend Shannon Tweed, who he'd been shacking up with for over two decades.

November 11th, Jason Lee and Jerry O'Connell remarried their wives to take advantage of whatever symbolism goes with the date 11/11/11.
