14-Year-Old Comedian Wows on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’
The next great stand-up comedian can’t even stand up.
14-year-old Jack Carroll, who suffers from cerebral palsy, has won fans around the world for poking fun at himself during a stand-up routine he performed on ‘Britain’s Got Talent.’
Jack has no problem being self-deprecating, starting off his set by saying, "Don't worry, I know what you're thinking: Harry Potter's had a nasty Quidditch accident."
After that bit, the audience remained on his side as he continued to make himself the butt of jokes. By the time he finished, he earned a standing ovation from the impressed and amused audience.
Jack's set was so good, in fact, even Simon Cowell was laughing. You know he must be funny to get that curmudgeon to turn that frown upside down.
Jack seems to be following the trail blazed by Josh Blue, another comedian who has cerebral palsy who also got his big break on a reality show ('Last Comic Standing').
Here's hoping Jack keeps writing material because it looks like he's going to be on the show for a long time.
