On Thursday, Texas Tech baseball announced that they had 11 student-athletes that were selected to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team, the most in school history.

The 11 Red Raiders that were selected were, Clayton Beeter who finished with  4.0 GPA, senior Cameron Warren, juniors Caleb Freeman, Josh Jung, Caleb Kilian and Brian Klein and sophomores Braxton Fulford, Gabe Holt, Parker Kelly, Cody Masters and Ryan Sublette.

In order to be selected for the first team, athletes needed to have a grade point average of 3.20 throughout the year, which all 11 of these guys did. This also marks consecutive years that Warren, Jung, Kilian and Klein have received first team accolades.

The No. 9 Red Raiders wrap up the regular season at home beginning on Thursday as they take on the TCU Horned Frogs for a three game series from Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.
