Students from Newtown, Connecticut Performed “Over the Rainbow” on “Good Morning America” [VIDEO]

I know that we all get busy with whatever it is that we do. Kids, work and everyday life sometimes leaves us with a short memory. Memories is all that some of the families in Newtown, Connecticut have. Not so long ago the gun shots rang out, lives were taken too early and families were devistated. How is the community holding up? How are the survivors getting by?

Well, the kids in Newtown are staying busy and trying to be positive in the wake of one of the worst mass murders in US history. Students from Newtown, Connecticut have recorded a special version of "Over the Rainbow" with singer "Ingrid Michaelson" and they performed it yesterday on "Good Morinig America". You can download the official version on iTunes, and proceeds go to the Newtown Youth Academy and the United Way of Western Connecticut.
