The CBR will celebrate their 10th anniversary in Lubbock on February 4th at the City Bank Coliseum. This will be there 5th annual CRB event in Lubbock.

When I was younger I used to attend CBR events with my father. He rode bulls before I was born, and still in a way thinks he does. I can remember putting on chaps and a hat just to be like my dad. I can also remember how much my mom didn't like the sport because it was so dangerous.

My father will always say his favorite rider is Lane Frost, he was killed by a bull after a ride in July of 1989. It was a ride that looked like any other:

These guys spend their lives practicing for a sport that could potentially kill them, and they do it all in just 8 seconds.

Bull riding is a sport with meaning to my family, but you don't have to know a rider to enjoy it. CBR is a event made for all ages and families.

Tickets are on sale now for the event starting February 4th and can be purchased online though Select-A-Seat or at any Select-A-Seat location in Lubbock. Tickets start as low as $15.
