Rough in the streets for the King of da "Sizzurp." TMZ says Lil Wayne suffered a ton of seizures last week and is basically claiming that he was on the brink of death.

The site says Wayne was hospitalized last Tuesday after suffering "multiple seizures." He was released the next day but was rushed back "just hours later, after one of his bodyguards found him in his room, on the floor and unconscious." At that point, Wayne was in critical condition because he wasn't stabilizing, and "it didn't look good." He was taken to ICU, and was "placed in restraints because he was shaking uncontrollably." TMZ's storyy gets worse: They say his doctors put him in a medically-induced coma, and he was breathing through tubes. It's unclear what caused all this but supposedly, he went on a DRUG BINGE between hospitalizations, and naturally, that played a role in his condition. Wayne's drug of choice was the cough syrup cocktail Sizzurp. Supposedly, he had his stomach pumped three times to flush the codeine from his system and is now, finally, in stable condition.

MediaTakeOut.com claims Wayne drank some bad, bootleg Sizzurp that contained "a number of other prescription drugs and anti-freeze, which is used to increase the potency."

Meanwhile, a "source" tells "Us" magazine that all this is being WILDLY EXAGGERATED . . . quote, "TMZ was so off base. Wayne is fine. He drank too much Sizzurp to get a better high.

"He needs rehab but he's not close to death or anything. He's fine and just coming down off the high."

On Friday, Wayne's rep said he was "doing well"  and Wayne himself Tweeted, quote, "I'm good everybody. Thanks for the prayers and love." And Wayne's business partner Mack Maine Tweeted, quote, "[He's] alive and well. Don't believe the nonsense about comas and tubes to breathe, that's false."
