In honor of her new album, Born This Way, which is out on Monday, MTV is airing a special one-hour documentary about Lady Gaga’s rise to stardom.  Lady Gaga: Inside the Outside premieres on Thursday, May 26th and gives an intimate look at the pop star when she was still Stefani Germanotta. In the special, Gaga opens up about being bullied when she was in high school, and here’s a sneak preview of what you can expect from the documentary:

Lady Gaga is an enormous advocate for putting an end to bullying and with how unique she is, it’s no shock to learn that she was used to be bullied herself while growing up in New York City. In the new MTV documentary Lady Gaga: Inside The Outside Gaga tells a story about being mistreated by her peers when she was young.

EVERYBODY HAS HIGH EXPECTATIONS FOR LADY GAGA’S BORN THIS WAY 

Hits Daily Double is reporting  that Lady Gaga’s label, Interscope Records, has shipped a whopping two-million copies of Born This Way to retail outlets.  Outside of normal record stores and online retailers, the CD – in both a standard and deluxe edition – will be available at 21-thousand non-traditional stores including CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Whole Foods, Costco, Nordstrom, Hot Topic, Radio Shack, Guitar Center, Starbucks and more.  Gaga will also perform at American Idol’s finale on May 26th and will be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live with host Justin Timberlake this weekend. If you are looking for an excuse to get the deluxe edition of Lady Gaga’s forthcoming album Born This Way,  then PerezHilton.com is reporting that if you do, one dollar from every album sold will go to the MAC AIDS Fund, which helps people who are affected by HIV and AIDS.  The deluxe edition of Born This Way costs just under 16-bucks.
