That's right! After Justin Bieber's sucess with his concert bio, Katy Perry had to get in the game as well. Katy's 3D concert movie will hit theaters this Fourth of July weekend, the Los Angeles Times reports. Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D, a documentary and live footage of the pop star, will debut on July 5th in an attempt to match the success of Justin Bieber's highly profitable "Never Say Never 3D" concert film.
Check out a trailer for Perry's movie below. Though the clip includes shots of the pop star's colorful stage show, some emphasis is placed on her recent divorce from comedian Russell Brand, as their relationship dissolved over the course of filming the tour. But the main emphasis is on the struggles and successes Katy has endured on her rise to stardom.
