The box office will the place to be this weekend for all my comedy lovers. Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, and Jonah Hill star in "The Watch" and the new fourth installment of "Step-Up" is out as well. Here is a peek at your weekend openings.
"The Watch" (R)
Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, and Jonah Hill start a neighborhood watch to get some MAN-TIME together, and accidentally uncover an alien plot to take over the world.
British comedian named Richard Ayoade rounds out the foursome on their patrol.  Andy Samberg has a cameo, and it’s directed by his Lonely Island comedy partner Akiva Schaffer.
"The Watch" was originally going to be called "Neighborhood Watch", but the studio didn't want to attract any bad publicity after the Trayvon Martin incident.
In fact, they revised their entire marketing campaign in March:  They pulled the teaser trailer out of theaters, and ditched the original posters for the movie, which featured a neighborhood watch sign with bullet holes in it.

"Step Up Revolution" (PG-13)
The fourth "Step Up" movie stars Kathryn McCormick from "So You Think You Can Dance". She falls in love with the leader of a flash mob, and gets him to use the group to save the neighborhood from a real estate developer.
The flash mob guy is played by Ryan Guzman, who hasn't done any acting before. But you might hear his name again at some point. The first two "Step Up" movies starred an unknown actor named Channing Tatum.
"So You Think You Can Dance" judge Mia Michaels is in too, along with season four finalist Stephen 'Twitch' Boss. He plays one of the returning characters from the last movie.
