Growing up in the awesome 70s and 80s, I was raised in Carlsbad, New Mexico. I very proudly proclaim that I was the last graduating class of the 80s. I was bit by the radio bug in 1995 when I started volunteering at a local station. A year later, I moved to Lubbock, where I continued working in radio. After 16 years, I stepped away for a bit, but I continued doing voice work here and there, never losing my love for radio and music -- especially 70s and 80s rock. Just ask my kids! I still quiz them every chance I get. I’m so excited to be back doing what I love with the music that I love on Awesome 98! I'm fortunate and truly grateful every morning when I make that drive to the studio. I have two kids and two grandkids, and I love spending my spare time barbecuing with family and friends. I'm also a die-hard Texas Tech football and Dallas Cowboys fan!
