12 Year Old Girl Gets Her Tongue Stuck to the Flagpole Just Like in ‘A Christmas Story’ [VIDEO]

Twelve-year-old Maddie Gilmartin, of East Kingston, New Hampshire, learned a very valuable lesson last week. Not everything you see in the movies is fake. Sure enough she got her tongue stuck to the flagpole after helping her dad outside.

 It just kind of popped into my head, ‘Hey what would happen if I stuck my tongue to a flag pole?’ At the moment, I was like, it will come right off.”

That's right a trip to the hospital guaranteed that Maddie was not going to try that again.
