By now you know that you have to keep a close eye on your kiddos when they are online. Predators, bullying, porn – all that and more is online just waiting to infect your kids brains with trash. And now, there might be videos that are embedded in other videos that teach and encourage your kids to kill themselves.

You read that right.

A mom was horrified to find a video spliced between clips of Splatoon, a popular video game, that shows a man in front of a green screen telling kids how to cut their wrists. He says "Remember kids, sideways for attention, longways for results," the man says, miming cutting motions on his forearm. End it."

The idiot in the video is actually a YouTuber named Filthy Frank and believe it or not says he is "the embodiment of everything a person should not be." It’s not known if this fool is responsible for the doctored video, but even if he isn’t, why would he make a video telling them to kill themselves in the first place?

Sadly, this isn’t the first time something like this has happened. YouTube says they have gotten similar reports of videos like this over the past year. YouTube took the video down. The mom who reported the video says she became obsessed with finding more videos so she could report them. She said she eventually had to stop searching because she kept running into darker and weirder things.

YouTube has various channels that are designed for kids, but online experts say people have figured out ways around their algorithms so even though you might think they are kid-friendly, you should always be in the room when your kids are online.
