X-Factor USA Offers Up Largest Prize in TV History [VIDEO]

Earlier this year, "X Factor" announced that the winner will receive a $5 MILLION record deal, which Fox said is the largest guaranteed prize in TV history. Well, now they're sweetening the pot even more. Simon Cowell says the grand prize is now $5 million in COLD HARD CASH, plus the record deal! In addition, the winning singer or group will be featured in a Super Bowl commercial for Pepsi. Also, Simon is convinced that "X Factor" will trump "American Idol". He says, quote, "You don't enter something for the silver medal, you want to be Number One. And for the next few months we're going to throw everything we have at it."
