World of Beer Is Coming to Lubbock

I was at a home brewing party over the weekend with my brew buddies and was both surprised and excited to hear that the World of Beer franchise has plans to come to Lubbock this summer, bringing their sudsy enjoyment to the West End shopping center over by Costco.

World of Beer isn't your run-of-the-mill tap house. In fact, while DFW natives have been enjoying the gargantuan selection of brews for years now, not even Austin or San Antonio have a World of Beer in their cities. Those folks need to travel to College Station to get their brew on.

What makes World of Beer so unique is the fact that their beer listing is big -- in fact, I'd say massive is a better word for it. World of Beer (or WOB as patrons refer to it) will boast 50 beers on tap at any given time, along with an additional 500+ different brews in the bottle. All that plus a great pub menu makes for a great pairing.
