I'm not the biggest hoops fan so I'm probably really late even mentioning this. But I want to know what happened to one of the fundamental rules of basketball in the NBA? What rule you ask? I'll tell you.

Travelling. Travelling used to be a rule in basketball that said you couldn't take more than 2 steps without dribbling the ball at least once. 2 steps, bounce the ball again. If not you were called for travelling and it basically resulted in a turnover. But if you watch any NBA footage these days, especially when someone drops a monster slam dunk, they're taking 4 steps or more without dribbling and the refs don't call it anymore.

Watch this video of Archie Goodwin of the Phoenix Suns taking at least 4 steps.

Now watch Corey Brewer take at least 6 steps!

I guess some rules just don't matter anymore.
