Usher’s Stepson May Be Taken Off Life Support
In a heartbreaking turn of events, Usher‘s stepson, Kile Glover, may be taken off of life support.
TMZ reports that Usher’s ex-wife, Tameka Foster, may be forced to take 11-year-old Glover off of life support next month because his health insurance will no longer pay for it.
Glover was declared brain dead following a jet ski accident on July 7. Glover and a female friend were riding inner tubes when they were struck by jet skis. While his companion suffered a cut on her head and a broken arm, Glover sustained severe head injuries from the accident, which led to a family friend of Usher’s being investigated.
Foster cannot afford to keep Glover on life support once his insurance coverage runs out, and despite his being supportive and chartering a flight for Foster to see her son, Usher reportedly hasn’t made any offers to pay for Glover’s medical bills. Foster is said to still have faith that her son may make a full recovery, citing that she believes in miracles.
This can’t be an easy decision for anyone. Our thoughts are with Glover, Foster, Usher and their families at this time.
