Tyler the Creator is still going strong this week with his second consecutive win in TheDrop.fm's Rap Battle.

Going against Joey Bada$$'s 'Day in the Life,' Tyler's 'Slater' took 63.64 percent of the vote and was the clear winner this week. Meanwhile, Bada$$ only came out of the battle with 35.71 percent of the vote.

‘Slater’ put Tyler back in the studio with his Odd Future brother Frank Ocean and supposedly includes some guitar expertise from rocker Dave Matthews. The song is the second single off Tyler’s latest album, ‘Wolf,’ which released earlier this week. “Guess I win, checks started cashing in / I stopped rapping and started asking, ‘Where my f—ing passion is?’ / Probably where that f—– went (Who?), Tyler talking father problems / Shocky s— he spit to popping topics in a gossip column,” he delivers on this track, which talks about his road to hip-hop success.

This week, Big Sean's 'Switch Up' featuring G.O.O.D. Music rapper and occasional actor Common, hopes to kick Tyler out of the running for the Rap Battle Hall of Fame. The latest single off his upcoming album, 'Hall of Fame,' Sean emphasizes the importance of loyalty despite all the changes that can happen throughout one's life or more specifically, a rapper's career. "I seen cars switch up, seen hoes switch up / Seen money all switch up, when the days get dimmer / Who gonna leave you there and who gonna leave with ya / This for the ones that's always with ya, ain't switch," Sean spits on the song's hook," he delivers on the hook.

Although some have called him out for blasting Kid Cudi's departure from G.O.O.D. Music on the track, Sean sets the record straight and says that he has nothing but love for the 'Immortal' artist.
