Chace Crawford, AKA The Deep in Amazon Prime’s ‘The Boys,’ Was Born in Lubbock
Now that we've all had a little time to binge Amazon Prime's The Boys, it's time to talk about The Deep -- a, shall we say, "complicated" member of The Seven, the superhero squad that The Boys have to constantly keep in check.
Don't worry if you haven't watched the show yet; I'll keep this relatively spoiler-free. (But seriously, why haven't you watched this yet? It might be the best dark superhero show ever.)
The Deep is played perfectly by actor Chace Crawford, who was born right here in Lubbock. From his IMDB page:
Christopher Chace Crawford was born in Lubbock, Texas, the son of Dana (Plott), a teacher, and Chris Wayne Crawford, a dermatologist. He grew up in Plano, Texas, and has a younger sister, Candice Crawford Romo, who studied broadcast journalism and won the Miss Missouri USA title in 2008.
Crawford is also known for his roles in hit TV shows Gossip Girl and Glee, and for providing voices for characters in Family Guy and Robot Chicken. He's exceptionally good at playing a pretty boy a-hole, so to speak. Also, there's a really spicy poster of him if you're interested seeing some major bulge.
If I still haven't sold you on The Boys, here's the trailer. Go pop the popcorn now; you're going to be on the couch for the next few hours.
