Well I guess the States just do not have that 'X-factor' that people are looking for. After 3 years of trying and trying FOX and Cowell have decided to call it quits in the States for the X-Factor.

After Paul Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger, Cowell and Epic Records head L.A. Reid there were two more attempts to make the show a 20 million viewer. Demi Lovato and Britney Spears joined the panel in the second season (2012). When fans continued to bail, Reid and Spears bowed out. Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio were subsequently swapped in for the third  installment.

What caused this mass consensus to not watch the "X-Factor?" The lack of talent? The similar format to it's predecessor and competition "American Idol?" Maybe America's just had enough of talent searches and dance competitions for now at least.
