The Nutcracker Is Coming to Lubbock, How to Get Early Access
This holiday season, Market Street will be presenting Ballet Lubbock’s The Nutcracker at the Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and Sciences.
The show will run from Thursday, December 9 to Sunday, December 12, 2021.
The Nutcracker is an iconic two-act Christmas ballet from 1892. It was originally choreographed by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov, and the score was composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. This score has become one of the most recognizable among the general public for the piece Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.
If you are a fan of ballet, then you might be interested in Ballet Lubbock’s “Friend of the Ballet” program. This program gives you early access to tickets, including early access to The Nutcracker starting today, September 29, 2021.
If you aren't planning to become a “Friend of the Ballet”, then you will be able to purchase your tickets starting October 25, 2021.
