A Lubbock man who was accused of breaking into three homes in less than a week has turned himself in to police.

KAMC News reports that 21-year-old Djinon Lee Davis turned himself in at the Lubbock County Detention Center on Monday, February 28th, 2022.

KFYO News previously reported that two home invasions happened at 8:20 a.m. and 8:40 a.m. on Thursday, February 17th. Davis was said to have entered two homes within the 5600 blocks of Duke and Emory Street. Reports say he also tried to enter a 3rd home, but was unsuccessful.

Then, on Wednesday, February 23rd, another home invasion happened in the 5600 block of Emory Street. Davis was said to have forced his way into the residence and struck the homeowner with a firearm. This was at around 8 a.m.

The status of the homeowner is not currently known.

Surveillance footage was used to initially identify Davis as the suspect, who was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
