The Dog Strikes Back: 2012 Volkswagen Game Day Commercial [VIDEO]

In January I gave you the Dogs of VW doing the barking "Star Wars" theme. Volkswagen continues with the whole Star Wars and dogs in this newly released trailer for their Super Bowl  They've released the whole thing early. It's an extended version, which is over a minute long.

The first part is about a dog who works out to race a Volkswagen and the second has "StarWars" characters debating whether or not it's better than last year's Darth Vader kid ad. Check it out:

I don't get the "Star Wars", Dogs and VW connection. What am I missing?
