Okay, when it comes to Pop music there is a line that has to be crossed.

If you're just a pretty face but a studio engineer can make you sound in tune and like a professional then I am not going to like you. You have to have some amount of talent to get my attention. Since 15 million of us saw Grammy nominated and platinum-selling country star Hunter Hayes on the finale of "The Voice," I think it can be said that this kid has got a future not only on the Country charts but in the Pop world as well.

Hunter is an American country music singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He is signed to Atlantic Records Nashville, and released his self-titled debut album in 2011. The album includes the Top 15 country single "Storm Warning" and the number 1 singles "Wanted" and "Somebody's Heartbreak." I know that Hunter is considered a Country artist, but I have the feeling that he will have a crossover track soon that will get him the attention the he deserves. I caught him last night on an obscure late night show ripping out some of the most incredible blues guitar licks. After that he was sitting at a piano playing a lot more than just some chords. This kid truly has the stuff to make it big and I for one will be watching and hoping for great things.
