Texas Tech 5-Star Commit Nimari Burnett Dropped 34 on LeMelo Ball in January
If you've followed college basketball or the NBA in the last three years, you know the Ball family.
Lavar Ball and his sons took the basketball world by storm when the oldest Ball brother, Lonzo, was at UCLA. Since then, the Ball saga has been incessant, reaching a fever pitch in 2018 as the youngest Ball brother came back from Lithuania to play for a prep school in the states.
While at Spire academy, LeMelo Ball was all the Instagram ballers talked about. But one night in January, it was Texas Tech's 5-star commit Nimari Burnett that outshined the Ball brother and handed Spire one of only two losses on the season.
Here are the highlights:
Burnett balled out and dropped 34 on Spire in the win.
This season, LaMelo is overseas and actually being talked about as being a top three pick in the upcoming NBA draft. Burnett is back at Prolific Academy, and they've started their season 6-0.
