Texas Tech vs Kansas State Set for an Early Kickoff
Saturday night, following the conclusion of this week's games, the Big 12 Conference announced the kickoff times for next week's games on Saturday, October 23.
ESPN & FOX used their option of a six-day notice to the conference to set the kickoff times for next week's four Big 12 Conference games.
Texas Tech (5-2, 2-2) vs Kansas State (3-3, 0-3) will kickoff at 11am at Jones AT&T Stadium and the game will be televised on FS1.
Oklahoma at Kansas is also kicking off at 11am and that game will be televised on ESPN. Oklahoma State at Iowa State gets the 2:30pm timelsot on FOX and West Virginia at TCU receives the 6:30pm timeslot on ESPNU.
Texas Tech's record improved to (5-2, 2-2) with the Red Raiders win over Kansas. If the Red Raiders can beat the Wildcats next Saturday, then Texas Tech will become bowl eligible for the first time in the Matt Wells era.
Texas Tech has lost their last five games against Kansas State, with their last win coming during the 2015 season. That win was a 59-44 victory at Jones AT&T Stadium.
